Sunrise Montessori School

I just love this school! I discovered Sunrise Montessori about five years ago when my first son was three. I was committed to the concepts of Montessori education, and visited all the Montessori schools within a certain radius from my house. I just wasn't quite sold on any of them, so I went back to my search to see if there was anything I'd missed. Noticing Sunrise Montessori on the list, only slightly outside my original radius, I thought I'd check it out. As soon as we arrived, I knew it was the place for us. It had everything I was looking for - a comfortable, loving environment; flexible schedules; freedom to explore; and an extensive collection of well-organized Montessori materials. What really stood out was the focus on teaching children to work together, get along on the playground and resolve conflicts amongst themselves. My first son attended Sunrise Montessori for two years and continues to excel, now finishing 2nd grade at the California Montessori Project charter school. My youngest son just completed his first year at Sunrise Montessori, and we are looking forward to one more year together. I highly recommend Sunrise Montessori for anyone looking for a rewarding experience for their preschool-aged child.

This is a great Montessori Pre-School and Kindergarten!! My son is 3 and has been attending since the summer 2008. Here are some specifics:
1. All of the teachers are certified Montessori teachers
2. It is a true Montessori program with two classrooms full of age appropriate Montessori materials.
3. A variety of options including full days, half days, 5 days/week, 1 day/week, an unlimited amount of flexibility for your needs.
4. There is a summer program, but you do not have to be enrolled to keep your spot.
5. The staff is professional, caring, and outstanding.
Anne provides a well run environment and works well with the kids, parents and her staff to make Sunrise Montessori an unique and special place
